Coming from an Indian Gujarati background, music has always held a special place in my life. My journey began with traditional Indian music and evolved to include Bollywood, Bhangra, House, Trance, Afro, and Reggaeton. Inspired by Bollywood remixes and DJ performances at Indian weddings, I decided to pursue a career in music.

Under the stage name DJ Yash, I began mixing at a local online radio station in 2007 and soon progressed to performing at Portuguese clubs. Over time, I gained recognition and launched “Spicy Nights,” offering unique Indian music experiences for private parties and weddings. In 2013, I founded the Bollywood Holi festival in Lisbon, drawing over 2000 attendees annually.

Since my debut as a DJ in 2007, I’ve accumulated over 10 years of experience as an entertainer and event organizer. In 2011, I won the ‘Best DJ’ award at the Portela Summer Fest DJ contest, propelling my international career. I’ve performed in prestigious clubs across Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Ireland, Great Britain, and more, alongside renowned South Asian artists.

Notably, I initiated the first Bollywood Holi Festival in Lisbon, which has become an annual flagship event featured in Time Out magazine. Recently, I’ve delivered guest mixes for BBC Radio shows, showcasing my diverse musical influences.
