Vinit Parikh, also known as VYNL (formerly DJ VP), is a DJ originating from California’s Bay Area, currently based in New York City. With 13 years of experience to his name, he’s been around the block – intimate private events, clubs, collegiate parties, large scale weddings, you name it. Old school to new Bollywood, Y2K hip-hop to modern rap, Latin, EDM – it’s all in his wheelhouse. Formerly a prominent DJ in the collegiate dance circuit, he’s won several awards for his mixes in the Bollywood/Fusion and Bhangra circuits, rocked some of the the largest competition afterparties across the US, and opened for artists such as Mickey Singh, PropheC, Fateh, Amar Sandhu, and DJ UpsideDown. The turntable is the first “instrument” he’s ever picked up and since then, he’s never stopped. Armed with the seasoned ability to read a crowd along with extensive musical expertise across several genres, VYNL will curate an experience you’ll never forget.
